Cassidy’s primary areas of professional interest include neuroplasticity after acquired brain injury and feeding/swallowing disorders. Her clinical practice serves patients in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient care for individuals with neurogenic diseases, feeding/swallowing disorders, head and neck cancer, and pediatric speech and language delay. She has specialized training in objective dysphagia evaluations and has extensive experience administering and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) as well as Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallow (FEES).
